Our Mission

VEGlobal’s mission is to empower volunteers in Chile to unite, act and engage others throughout the world to protect children’s rights. Under our mission, we have four primary goals:

• Provide opportunities that enable children and youth at social risk to become responsible and productive adults playing active roles in their communities.
• Promote leadership, long-term social commitment and solidarity through empowering volunteers to develop, implement and sustain innovative projects for children and youth.
• Complement and improve the child and youth services of less visible institutions by collaborating with them to garner resources and social capital.
• Provide and promote opportunities for greater local and global community involvement in our mission and social change in general.
