December 2011: VE Global Needs Your Support, here's why...
Welcome to the 2011 Unite.Act.Engage. campaign season! Thanks to friend's like you, last year´s fundraising campaign was a huge success. This year, we plan to keep up the momentum, we want to raise $55,000 to support our programs and the children we serve.
Here's How Your Donations Help.
On a day-to-day basis, our volunteers work with over 300 children. They help with homework, take them to visit the doctor and dentist and let them just be kids. They also implement our core children´s programs (Liga de Deportes, ¡Vamos a Leer!, English in Motion, Festival de Arte), which are helping to encourage and motivate kids.
Every month an average of 30 children attend Liga, where they participate in healthy-living and team-building activities. Last summer, during ¡Vamos a Leer!, 61 kids had their noses stuck in books and our English in Motion program helped over 91 children practice and improve their English language skills. Not to mention our volunteer workshops—where kids went synchronized swimming, hiked nearby mountain ranges, and visited local museums; all in an effort to expand and explore new cultural horizons.

As International Volunteer Day approaches (Dec. 5th), we want to take a minute to honor our volunteer community. From the beginning, VE Global volunteers have implemented and created new and wonderful programs for the children we help. Without our volunteers, VE Global is not possible.
