2009 Campaign: Unite. Act. Engage.

VE Global serves 450 children every day, and over 1000 each year. Our education programs reach and impact marginalized youth across Santiago, and our on the ground team of 25 volunteers provide over $1,000,000 (that's one million dollars!) worth of service every year. All of this is made possible by the continued commitment of volunteers across the world, who are raising awareness about VE's impact on the children of Santiago.

Unite. Act. Engage. brings together thousands of members of VE´s international family in a series of exciting fund-raising events that directly benefit the children we serve. Our Annual Campaign is essential to the effectiveness of VE. It is what puts books in the children's hands, gets them outside for some football in the sun, and opens new opportunities for their futures. While fundraising events are the focus of the campaign, there are many ways you can join us in the fight for children's rights.

We also appreciate individual donors! Our average individual donation for 2008 was $35 USD. This may not seem like much, but a little goes a long way at VE. Just $100 USD will fully fund out literacy program, Vamos a Leer, for an entire month. That is new books and new experiences for 65 children!
